I’m not sure if every cloud has a silver lining, but this one certainly did!
10 weeks after our Joanna Caddy van was written off, we took delivery of this fabulous vehicle. Huge gratitude to our generous supporters, with special mention to Leeds Rotary Club and The Clothworkers’ Foundation for their grant. Every day this car is used for staff to accompany women to appointments, deliver food and care parcels, or make a home visit. It then transforms into a mobile café for Evening Outreach; the car is big enough for women to hop in for a quick chat but small enough for daytime city driving and parking. We’re all set up to maintain our mobile services which developed during the pandemic lockdowns and look set to stay.
