Sarah Dransfield
Director
Joined Joanna Staff in March 2025. Sarah has a real heart for championing and coming alongside
those who are marginalised in society. She loves getting to know the women at Joanna Project,
hearing their stories and making a real positive difference to the lives of those she works with.
She enjoys spending time outdoor, walking her dog and going to the theatre.
Rachel Freeman
Outreach and Support Worker
Joined Joanna Project in April 2025. She loves the seaside, cats and aerial hoop.
Ros Clark
Outreach and Support Worker
Joined us March 2023, working part-time alongside her creative work. Aswell as working
alongside the women Ros coordinates Joanna House food and donated items, and
writes our Secret Angel emails.
Laura Atkins
Outreach and Support Worker
Laura Joined us January 2024 in a part-time capacity.
Ellen Price
Outreach and Support Manager
Ellen joined the staff team in May 2024 after years of volunteering and took
on the role of Manager in November 2025.
Emanuela Balmer
Admin and Finance Manager
Emanueala joined the team in January 2025. She sorts out payments, accounts,
arranges building repairs,looks after IT and phones – anything in the office! When she is not in the office,
she enjoys hanging out with her two children.
