Happy Christmas, the season of peace, love and true hope. As we do each year, individual gifts were given out at our Christmas Party, yet again expertly hosted by social enterprise The Barn Coffee Shop at Meanwood Valley Urban Farm.
Thanks to our supporters’ generosity we have also distributed 35 festive food parcels. It might not be a full turkey dinner, but at the very least Christmas Day needs a cuppa with chocolate biscuits, treats and a few meals. Several did however enjoy Christmas dinner with all the trimmings at Joanna House this week, courageously setting aside individual sadness and regrets over the past, to celebrate together.
